Recipe of the Month: Lebanese Shawarma (Meat, Lamb)
Ingredient
50g of olive oil
50g of onions
100g of red vinegar
100g of lemon juice
10g of Shawarma Spices
6g of garlic, minced
2000g of beef, round steak, thinly sliced
1000g of animal fat (beef or lamb)
Combine and mix all the above listed ingredients and marinate for about 8 to 12 hours before putting into oven.
Spread in a flat baking pan and heat the oven 10 minutes on 120°c before start cooking.
Let the mixture in the oven on medium heat for about 45 minutes or until the meat become tender.
Upon taste, you can alternate with fat slices.
Serve hot with Tahina dressing / sauce (Tarator) and freshly sliced Persil, onions and tomatoes
Tahina Dressing Recipe:
100ml Tahina + 50 ml water + 2 squeezed lemon + ½ tsp of salt powder + ¼ garlic clove (upon Taste)
